I'm Kevin Sykes — an AI implementation consultant based in Rochester, NY. I help small businesses take AI from "sounds interesting" to "it runs on its own."
Most AI pilots fail because nobody maps the workflow, trains the team, or measures whether the tool actually works in context. I work in that gap: scoping the right problem, building the integration, and making sure it sticks after I leave.
I come from a finance background — BSBA Finance from Elon University — which means I think about ROI before I think about technology. If the math doesn't work, I'll tell you before we start building.
I'm currently completing a Advanced Certificate in AI & Business at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, with coursework in AI transformation, business analytics, and consultative sales. The program includes a weekly Speaking from Experience series where I interview guest speakers and recruiting firms about AI adoption in their industries.

This is my working portfolio. The projects listed here are real systems I built and maintain. The build timeline shows exactly how the site itself was put together — I'm building in public so you can see how I work, not just what I claim.
